What’s New? BHS Covering Telepsych/Telehealth

During the current national health emergency, BHS has implemented the coverage of outpatient telepsych or telehealth. The benefit, which includes coverage through your free, confidential EAP visits, applies only to mental health conditions with an in-network BHS provider.

BHS members who are new to BHS, or not already an established patient, are encouraged to contact BHS first, for referral assistance, benefits and eligibility, and to assist with an appointment to an in-network BHS counselor, psychologist or psychiatrist.

The non-disruption in service, and the safety and health of our members during this national crisis, are of utmost concern to BHS.

Your EAP can help with the following issues:

  • Stress Management
  • Personal Relationships
  • Marital/Family Issues
  • Parent-Child Conflict
  • Grief & Loss
  • Coping After a Tragedy
  • Depression & Anxiety
  • Work-Related Problems
  • Alcohol & Drug Abuse
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Life Transition
  • Eating Disorders
  • Financial/Legal

When you use your EAP benefits, there are never any claims to file and EAP visits are covered at 100%. Your use of the EAP is completely confidential. In addition to referral for counseling or medication management, your Care Coordinator can assist you with the availability of community resources, such as support groups, that may be beneficial.
